M.U.N. when i think of that word I think "hard" but of coarse it would be hard, why would something you want to achieve at be hard?
MUN was a challenge for me because I had never done it before and there are many rules and thinking to it. writing the resolutions was the hardest because you had to have alot of information and understanding to be able to do it. you also had to come up with solutions to the problems and put lots of detail into it.
In the MUN conference I felt like I could have done alot better because I never gave a speech basically because I was shy and I was not prepared for it, if I was to do this project again I would have definitely studied more so I could have had more information to have a good speech.
The whole experience of MUN was a great experience because I was able to learn so much about a different country and it was interesting to see how different it was from the US. I don't know if I would do it again but it was definitely worth doing once it was a great experience.

Socrtatic Seminar Reflection
My classmates and I did a Socratic Seminar today. It was based on the seventy first chapter of the Tao Te Ching, the chapter explained alot about sickness and knowledge.
it Said, "Knowing ignorance is strength.
Ignoring knowledge is sickness.
If one is sick of sickness, then one is not sick.
The sage is not sick because he is sick of sickness.
Therefore he is not sick."
What I think this chapter is basically saying is if you are sick of sickness than you should or would want to have the power to get rid of it. In this chapter "sickness" does not really refer to ill sickness I think it is talking more about a problem or situation. Going to knowledge I think that what he is talking about is ignoring knowledge is not good, there is areason why it is providede to you it is something that will help you through life.
As far as our class did and participation, I think that most of the time it was silence, the other times only about four people were talking, including me. I think it was mostly because people were shy about sharing their thoughts and observations. In the future I hope to have a better understanding and observation of Socratic Seminars.

Quigong Reflection
When I stepped into the Room that we were going Quigong in I could already tell that it wasn't going to effect me like I heard it did to others, but once I did the quigong and I felt the Energy it surprised and kind of freaked me out, as we went through the rest of the class I felt so relaxed and thought of how different lifestyles are and how the east and west are so different from eachother. They each have a whole different perspective of life from eachother. The east look at life as if it were a wonderful gift from above, they are spiritually deeper and use the earths gifts wisely. As we on the other hand do not always stop to smell the flowers and realize what is around you and use different resourses.
When I could feel the pressure of my energy, it was at that moment I realized that even though people are different and live life differently, we all come together in the end and are exactly the same.
In the future I hope to go to another Quigong class. I would love to learn more about it and learn to apply it to my daily life because I really do feel that it helps sooths you and look at life as if it were a gift.

Farms in the sky
In the article "Farms in the sky" it explains an idea of farming inside large citys. scientists and architects see farming going from primitive methods to the most modern day methods. they see farming in downtown high rises among businesses and homes. the
determinant factor for this method of farming is lack of space and large amount of people in one small place.
There are good and bad issues with this type of farming, the farmers would have to domesticate themselves to this kind of farming and architect would have to decide how to codify each level of the building.
I think that this type of farming sound different and weird, but I also see how it can one day become use full. with help from intelligent scientists and the deity people can be fed with crops from high rise building in their own backyard.
